By my own definition, this means that so far this season, my Week 2 power rankings have been worse than ESPN's. I'm predicting that this week's variance, 1334, is the highest the variance will get all season. But first allow my defense.

ESPN is absolutely crazy to place the Colts ahead of the Giants. Oddsmakers favor the #2 ranked Giants by 15.5 points at home against #28 Oakland. The #1 ranked colts are only giving a maximum of 4 points to the #25 Tennessee Titans. Even accounting for the differences, 11.5 points is saying an awful lot. The Ravens were placed too low. My Top 10 right now looks something like . Notice that none of my Top 10 teams have lost to either Indianapolis or Denver. Only Chicago and San Diego have lost to teams outside my Top 10. I'm expecting that San Diego is going to pick it up over the next few weeks. Enough's enough. Here are my Week 4 Power Rankings. Each team is given with their record and variance from ESPN's newest rankings.

1. New York Giants (4-0) 1
